1964 Harley Davidson Servi-Car Project
The Harley Davidson 45ci. Servi-Car was first produced by the factory as far back as 1935 and continued production until 1973. Dubbed the Model G, these rugged three wheelers provided great service for commercial, industrial and the military and was the main mode of transport for the meter readers for many decades to follow. The 45ci flathead motor was the longest production run out of the factory and was only surpassed by the Sportster motor which ran from 1957 to 2022 when it was put out of commission. This project is fairly complete and also includes three gear boxes and a number of new parts as well. The motor looks to be complete and was a runner prior to tear down. The fiberglass body is in very good condition, as well as the frame and rear axle assembly. The gas tank and front fender look to be OEM, and it also sports a new set of rear tires and hubcaps. This cool old bike would make an excellent winter project and is selling at “NO RESERVE” during our upcoming online auction taking place in mid October 2022 at Batorclassicauctions.com.
