Since 1961, Harley Davidson had purchased and enlisted the the help of the Italian Aermacchi factory to produce their lightweight motorcycles to help round out their motorcycle line up and offerings to the public. The 125cc SS model was their attempt to compete with the likes of the Japanese enduro’s that dominated the market and were quite popular back in the day. This very nice original paint example shows only 555 miles on the odometer and is in excellent condition for being 46 years old. All of the original components are present and accounted for including the original exhaust, turn signals, and all of the logos and decals. There is a dealer applied decal stating that the motorcycle was originally sold at Cox’s Harley Davidson located in Asheboro N.C. This motorcycle is a true time capsule and would make a great addition to any collection. Selling with a California title and NO RESERVE!
